Chips & dip, anyone?
Oh my goodness, my favorite party snack used to be Ruffles ridged potato chips and the classic chip dip... I think it was their brand?
The crunch of the chips, the creaminess of the dip... MM!
But boy was that an inflammation bomb to my body! Potatoes fried in vegetable oil (probably canola oil) are among the worst things we can eat. (WHY?!?! ðŸ˜) Then the dip was a chemical cocktail on top of that.
If you’re like me, and you love food, and you love good food, and you love that crunchy creamy phenomenon... then this recipe is for you!
I give you...
The everything but the bagel goat cheese dip!
I’m not usually a proponent of dairy, however, goat cheese is a bit different. It’s has less lactose, lower sodium, and smaller, easier to digest fats. Not to mention, it’s less likely to be processed with all the junk that cow dairy is made with.
So, if I’m gunna do a creamy cheese dip, it’s going to be goat cheese.
Here’s what’s in it!
8oz of goat cheese
1/4 cup of olive oil (add more depending on desired consistency)
1/4 cup of Everything but the bagel seasoning from @traderjoes
All you do is mix it all together!
For that perfect crunch, I recommend Japanese cucumbers. You can use celery, carrots, broccoli... or whatever you like!
If you REALLY want a chip fix, I recommend @barnana’s sea salt plantain chips. They are AMAZING and made without harmful oils!
Enjoy!
