I need your feedback at the end of this, but first, I just want to say how grateful I am to have all these new faces here!
Hiiii
For those of you who don’t know me, or for those who do know me but aren’t quite sure what it is I’m doing with all these posts about health and mindset and what not - the super short explanation is - I’m a Health Coach!
My approach is a bit different in that I don’t ONLY support my clients with their nutrition, but also with their mindset when it comes to breaking cycles of shame & discouragement and creating a long term view of their health.
The most unique thing about it is that I do this through a faith based process.
My clients learn how to get clear on their vision for their health a grounded in their identity & calling in Christ, and then how to take hold of the grace He offers to bring about that transformation.
How did I end up doing this??
Well, like many of you, I’m a foodie.
I love food, and at the same time, I want to be healthy and feel good.
After years of eating lots of processed foods, calorie counting, and sugar binging, I started to gain weight and experience some awful acne.
While I was in seminary, I was watching my grandparents suffer from chronic degenerative diseases.
I realized that, while I was being equipped in studying the Bible, serving & leading ministries, & understanding theology, I wasn’t being taught how to care for the vehicle by which we carry out our callings.
God has since instilled a passion & vision in me to see the bodies that comprise the Body of Christ healthy and well!!
So, I delved into my own health, pursued education in nutrition, and created the Sustainable Health program.
Now, I do need your feedback, because each month I do a live series in my free Greens & Grace FB group.
I’m deciding between the topics of meal prep, time management, or self kindness.
If you would please share, which of these 3 would you find most valuable and why??
Send me an email and let me know!
Hi Robin
I couldn't decide between time management and self kindness. Both of them sound very interesting and useful, and I bet would learn a lot from them. Even though I'm single I struggle with time management. (How do you moms do it?) Some days I'm on top of things, others not so much. It's my theory that by learning time management first it will lead the way to a start on self kindness. I think that by learning realistic time management goals and celebrating what was accomplished instead of punishing myself for not having my place 100% clean and organized it's a way of also learning self kindness.
