Ryan and I have really enjoyed our subscription to Butcher Box, a humanely, pasture raised meat service. One thing we always get is baby back ribs. I had never tried making ribs before, so it was a bit intimidating to figure out. Once I discovered this recipe - the rest was history. It is SO delicious. I honestly think these are the best ribs I've ever had. They just fall right off the bone.
Here's what you'll need:
2lbs Baby Back Ribs
1 1/2 Cup of Primal Kitchen Golden BBQ Sauce (or sauce of your choice. I like Primal Kitchen because there's no sugar!)
1tbsp Liquid Smoke (though, I've never had this to use)
1tbsp Parsley
1tbsp Paprika
1tbsp Onion Powder
1tbsp Garlic Salt
1tbsp Salt
1tbsp Pepper
1/4 Cup of Coconut Sugar
1 cup Water
1tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
1tbsp Worcheshire Sauce
Here's all you have to do:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Coat the front and back of the ribs with the rub over the instant pot, so the excess rub falls into the pot.
Add the water, apple cider vinegar, and Worcheshire sauce to the pot.
Cook on manual for 25 minutes. When it's done, wait 10 minutes before releasing the steam.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet.
Mix the BBQ saucs and liquid smoke and slather on top of the ribs.
Broil in the oven for 5 minutes.
ENJOY!!!
